The other day, the NowThis portal, which specializes in publishing hot first-timers, published on its official microblog on the social network Twitter an exclusive video recording with Hollywood stars, including actors Robert De Niro, Martin Sheen and writer Stephen King.

In addition to them, the video stars Laurence Fishburne, known for his role as Morpheus in the film “The Matrix,” Sophia Bush, director and producer Robert Reiner. A bunch of celebrities accused Russia of attacking American democracy, simultaneously catching US President Donald Trump in a lie.

In the accompanying text accompanying the video, the NowThis portal called the statement of the Hollywood stars “a breakthrough through the US government’s lies about the Robert Mueller report.”

Filled with anxiety for the fate of America, famous people told viewers “about a massive covert operation prepared by Moscow to help Trump take the presidency of the United States.”

The top officials of American show business refer to the March report of special prosecutor Mueller, who headed the case “about the Russian trace in the American presidential elections in 2016.”

American cultural figures performed in the style of the 34-year-old video clip “We are the World, We are the Children,” in which the words of the song were sung in turn by a group of celebrities. In the old video, the first performer was Michael Jackson.

In the video posted by NowThis, the role of the lead singer was played by old man Robert De Niro. His first words: “In 2016, the Russian government launched an attack on American democracy.”

His speech is picked up by another Hollywood patriarch, actor Martin Sheen, with the assertion that “Russia interfered in the election of the head of state.”

Taking the baton from Father Shin is artist Kristin Lahti, who opens her eyes to hacker attacks by Moscow on email accounts, as well as the spread of false information on social networks.

Fairly eaten up by moths and Agent Smith, Morpheus, in turn, draws attention to the fact that representatives of the Russian side had contacts with members of the Trump campaign.

Next, the main caliber of Hollywood shoots - the famous American writer and screenwriter Stephen King. The horror and thriller author leads the public to believe that “all these actions are part of a covert operation,” and, sums up actress and model Sophia Bush, “this operation was organized to help Trump take the presidency of the United States.”

But that is not all. More and more new performers with their own parts are joining the patriotic song of vigilant celebrities.

Actor George Takei: “On March 22, the special counsel on the “Russian trail” Robert Mueller presented “damning evidence” against Trump, but no one actually read the report.

Actor Martin Sheen: “before the report was released, William Barr, who holds the position of US Attorney General, lied about the contents of the document and claimed that the actions of the American leader were exclusively within the law.”

Actor Kendrick Sampson: “This is an outright lie, since Mueller managed to find a number of evidence confirming the fact of Trump’s collusion with Moscow.”

Voiceover: “Trump’s team was aware of Moscow’s illegal attack on the elections and encouraged its assistance.”

The icing on the cake: “the current US President admits that during the next elections, which will take place in 2020, he will break the law again.”

Further, the video makes references to the Mueller report. According to the authors of the video and the actors who appeared in the video, these links indicate that Trump had ties to Russia.

In particular, in 2016, a person acting in the interests of Russia informed Trump’s adviser about compromising material on the Republican’s former political rival, Democratic Party representative Hillary Clinton, who was running for the presidency in 2016.

After this, the son of the current American leader, Donald Trump Jr., received an email about compromising material on Clinton and agreed to accept the materials. All this turned out to be “part of Trump’s support” from Moscow.

In total, according to the conclusions of the speakers, the Trump team had about two hundred contacts with people representing the interests of Moscow, but the president allegedly lied and tried to hide it.

At the end of the video, the celebrities say that Trump will be held accountable for the above actions, since “no one, not even the president, is above the law.”

If political Hollywood hoped to raise a stink to the skies with the release of an incriminating video, then it achieved its goal. True, the public reaction was not quite of the nature that the organizers had hoped for.

Social networks reacted to the video's release mostly negatively. Many users, having read the content of the video, wondered: have the celebrities really carefully read the results of the investigation “about Russian interference in the American elections,” or are they simply participating in political porn for goodies and compote, mindlessly reading out leaflets that were slipped to the camera.

The surprise at the position of the stars was international. The general consensus: “Hollywood is delusional.” Robert De Niro, as one of Trump's main haters, was advised to move to a desert island where there would be no television or Internet, and they also noted that the actor needed professional medical care and strong medications.

There were also those who approved of the video, thanking the video's creators for bringing together so many famous people: "Even if it was just to say something stupid."

Drawing parallels, it should be noted that the video demarche of Hollywood celebrities is in many ways reminiscent of the political speeches of their Russian colleagues during Yeltsin’s dirty 1996 election campaign “Vote or Panamaish!”, aimed at defaming the main competitor of the presidential race - the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov.

Frustrated figures of Russian culture and showbiz muttered day and night from stages and silver screens about the possible revenge of the “red-browns”, who pose a threat to freedom of speech, sacred private property and the endless horizons that opened up to the population of Russia after December 1991.

“Zyuganov is a return to the Gulag and to coupons,” - lured Russian celebrities.

The only difference is that in 1996 the Internet was in its early stages of development, and the United States, in principle, could not be interested in electing Zyuganov as president of the Russian Federation. I wonder what prevented Russian political strategists from accusing North Korean hackers of Kim Jong Il of influencing the elections?

It’s funny that American movie stars, like their Russian colleagues, have in common an excellent knowledge of the intricacies of presidential election procedures, state security, jurisprudence, conspiracy theories and an undoubted involvement in the host of luminaries of countless sciences.

There is no doubt that Hollywood stars, who traditionally support Democrats along with their liberal and even libertarian initiatives, were excited by Trump's announcement of the start of his second election campaign for 2020. Democrats and their supporters will not tolerate Trump’s second entry into the Olympus of American power.

A video published by the NowThis resource with revelations of movie stars looks like a gesture of desperation beyond foul. The results of the March report of US Attorney William Barr are deliberately distorted, exaggerated and turned inside out.

Let us recall that the operative part of the report clearly states that Special Counsel Mueller’s team was unable to establish facts of conspiracy or coordination of efforts by the Trump campaign headquarters with Russian authorities in order to influence the vote. In addition, the document made it clear that “the commission does not recommend bringing new charges against [the president], nor does it provide for the special counsel to file classified indictments.”

In fact, Hollywood actors, producers and Stephen King, in their appeals, put bare emotions on the feelings of voters. However, judging by the reaction of social networks, as the most active and interested part of society, the representatives of “Shmatrix” did not succeed in scaring the public: unlike Obama and the witch Clinton, Trump’s high popularity among Americans is due to his fulfillment of election promises regarding domestic economic problems.

It seems that American liberals have not learned the lesson of 2016. They failed to understand that US voters cast their ballots for Trump largely due to the unbridled counter-propaganda of the Democrats. Many went to vote for Trump with signs depicting a rattlesnake coiled up before attacking and the words “don’t push me.”

If the Democrats continue to make a stink to the heavens in the same spirit further, there is no doubt that Donnie will be able to defeat his political opponents in the race for a second presidential term.
