Blogger and reporter Sergei Rulev trolled an American journalist who came to celebrate Fleet Day in Sevastopol. Journalist Alexander Chalenko spoke about the incident on his blog.
According to him, a girl named Tate came to write about the holiday for one of the US publications - her family left the USSR when she was still very young. Subsequently, the journalist began working in Moscow; she speaks Russian well.

“I witnessed how Rulev trolled an American journalist named Tate. Approaching her, he asked if she was an American journalist. Having received an affirmative answer, he switched to the language of Bandera and Parubiy in conversation with her, and asked: “You are an American, and why don’t you speak Ukrainian language?” The poor woman could not stand Rulev’s trolling and ran away a minute later,” Chalenko said.
