“In pursuance of the instructions of the acting Chairman of the Committee on July 25, 2014, the territorial branches of the Committee checked the legality of the simultaneous termination on July 23 by individual business entities of the sale of petroleum products for cash at gas stations operating under the brands “Ukrnafta”, “Avias”, “ANP” and a number of other entities selling Ukrainian-made fuel “- said the state commissioner of the AMCU, Mikhail Rusinsky, as quoted by the department’s press service.
He also said that based on the results of the work carried out, a case was opened on the grounds of anti-competitive concerted actions and mandatory recommendations were provided to 12 business entities for consideration.
Let us remind you that earlier the Antimonopoly Committee accused 5 companies importing petroleum products of abusing their monopoly position in the imported fuel market of Ukraine by inflating prices for gasoline and diesel fuel at their gas stations.
