Ukrainian terrorist Afanasiev, amnestied in Russia, goes to Britain to speak in parliament and the Foreign Ministry
Ukrainian nationalist Gennady Afanasyev, convicted in Russia for terrorism and then returned to Ukraine as part of a prisoner exchange, will speak at the British Foreign Office and Parliament on April 25.

The embassy clarified that Afanasyev “will become the first political prisoner of the Kremlin to give a two-hour lecture in the British Parliament and answer questions from British deputies.”
