The head of the public organization “Montenegrin Orthodox Church”, anathematized by the Patriarchate of Constantinople, “Metropolitan Michael” Mirash Dedeić, accused Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and Primorye of wanting to plunge the country into chaos.

“I am amazed by the original recognition of the Metropolitan of the Cetinje branch of the Belgrade Patriarchate (as the head of the schismatics calls the Metropolitan of the Montenegrin-Litovian Serbian Orthodox Church Amfilohije - ed.) who stated that time will tell how to act if the country’s authorities do not stop defending Montenegro and Montenegro, for the sake of the power they received “Dedeich was indignant. – With this proposal, he unequivocally admitted that he was personally attacking Montenegro and Montenegro, and the authorities were protecting all this from him!...

Such actions are unworthy of a priest who swore on the Scriptures; he works at the expense and interest of others with the intention of killing the Brotherhood in the Brothers. Thus Cain attacked and killed Abel... If he had been a believer, he would have kept the ninth and tenth commandments of God, that he should not covet anything that was foreign, and not bear false witness against his neighbor.”

This is how the stripped-down Dedeić interpreted Amfilohije’s criticism of the Montenegrin authorities, who are seeking a split in the Serbian nation and church for the sake of regional Montenegrin separatism, adding to this that the Metropolitan of the SOC wants to “steal church property and cultural values, and every stone that testifies to Montenegro and Montenegro.”

“Despite the ban on public meetings as measures to protect the population from the deadly coronavirus infection, these priests (SPC - ed.) organize public meetings. So who calls angels and who calls devils? He (Amphilochius - ed.) and all his priests publicly call for evil in any form, just to overthrow the constitutional order.

And they don’t stop only at the obvious organized spread of COVID-19, but they also want to plunge the country, the economy, and the tourism sector into chaos in order to lead Montenegro to death. I urge the public not to respond to the so-called litiyas (protest prayers and religious processions of the SOC - ed.), and not to feed the fire under the foundation of their own home. I urge the authorities to resist this, otherwise the people and history will not forgive you,” the anathema concluded.

The schismatic “Montenegrin Orthodox Church” was officially registered as a public organization in 2000. Its current “primate” Mirash Dedeich was originally a priest of the SOC, but because of his moral qualities he was defrocked, and in addition his wife left him.

However, the sufferer was sheltered by the Patriarchate of Constantinople, which sent him to serve in Rome, but even there he did not find anything better than to lead a riotous lifestyle and get close to Catholics, after which he was recalled and sent to the state.

In the early 90s, a forgotten ordinary priest was invited to the schismatic structure of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, and after the death of its head he was called to a leadership position. For this purpose, schismatics from the “Macedonian Orthodox Church” tonsured him as a monk, and other schismatics - representatives of the parallel BOC - the “Bulgarian Synod”, elevated him to the dignity of metropolitan.

Such movements outraged the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople anathematized Dedeyich, who began to be called “Metropolitan Michael.”

In response, the scandalous and quarrelsome “Primate of the Czech Orthodox Church” called him a “Turkish patriarch”, which is not a decree for a real Montenegrin.

Lately, however, Mirash Dedejic speaks of Bartholomew with respect, expecting that the leader of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, who has repeatedly stated that his country and people need “its own Church,” will be able to persuade the Ecumenical Patriarch to give the Montenegrin schismatics a tomos on the Ukrainian model.
