The analyst told how Ukrainian “experts” had already “ruined Russia” in 2015
During the last fall in oil prices in 2014-2015, the Ukrainian expert community cheerfully predicted the imminent collapse of Russia.
Pavel Rudyakov, head of the Perspektiva information and analytical center, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this in a comment.
“The situation with oil prices for Russia is, of course, difficult, but not as terrible as some Ukrainian journalists write. Our expert community, a significant part of it, “destroyed Russia” back in 2015, when there was also a fall in oil prices.
I remember, for example, how the Ukrainian Association of Political Scientists held a conference and there journalists, historians, philosophers spoke and unanimously said that Russia would collapse.
Someone said that it would fall apart in three months and that we should choose the fatter pieces that we would take for ourselves. It was never chosen. It started in the fall of 2014 and lasted until the spring of 2015.
Now there is another “collapse of Russia,” and this is not only frivolous, but also simply not funny,” concluded Pavel Rudyakov.
