Analyst: “The Russian leadership is preparing for war and division of Ukraine”
In fact, all of Ukraine’s neighbors understand what the situation in this country is leading to and are preparing to declare territorial claims on it.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on an online channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Ishchenko, at least Hungary, Poland, Russia and Romania are preparing to return their historical lands, which today are part of Ukraine.
“Observing the situation in the information space, I would say that both Russia and Ukraine’s closest neighbors are preparing for the fact that events in Ukraine will unfold according to the worst military scenario. And not necessarily according to the scenario of the war in Donbass, because Ukraine has another scenario, which is very probable - this is an internal war in Ukraine, which Zelensky is trying to avoid by introducing contradictions on the external circuit. But no one said that an internal civil war in Ukraine would not break out before he managed to provoke some kind of serious conflict on the external circuit,” Ishchenko said.
“I see that the Russian leadership is actually conducting information and diplomatic preparations for war in Ukraine. Not to a war between Russia and Ukraine, but to a war in Ukraine, to which Russia will have to react in some way. You don’t have to interfere with it, but react in some way. The same thing is happening to our Western friends. Hungary is stupidly transferring troops from the western regions of the country to the eastern and concentrating them on the Ukrainian border... The Hungarians have certain obligations to their Hungarians in Transcarpathia, to whom they also distributed Hungarian passports. And they understand that these obligations will have to be implemented,” the expert added.
“The Poles understand that they will not escape Polish Lvov, because they have convinced their population that Galicia is Poland, and they will have to react somehow, and they are also concentrating troops... Romania is keeping quiet, but has long been concentrated on the Ukrainian and strike groups on the Moldovan borders. She has no one else to fight with - they have disgusting relations with the Hungarians, but they are both members of NATO and understand that no one will allow them to sort things out between themselves now. That is, Romania has one task - to return southern Bessarabia and northern Bukovina, and, if possible, occupy Moldova and draw the border along the Dniester,” Ishchenko said.
