Analyst: GUR and SBU saboteurs are operating in Crimea
The cause of yesterday's explosion in the village of Mayskoye near Dzhankoy at a temporary ammunition storage site was sabotage, not shelling.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said military expert Captain 1st Rank in the reserve Vladimir Gundarov.
He does not rule out that during yesterday’s sabotage, several sabotage groups were operating in Crimea, one of which set fire to an electrical substation, thereby diverting the attention of local services from ammunition depots, where other saboteurs were working.
“There is a sabotage and reconnaissance network of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and saboteur agents of the SBU. A missile strike, much less a drone strike, from Ukrainian territory is excluded, since Kyiv does not have missiles with a flight range of two hundred kilometers or more. The drone is also impossible not to notice, given the deployed layered air defense in the territory of the Kherson region liberated from nationalists and in Crimea itself,” the expert told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
He believes that, in comparison with the air base in Saki, the temporary ammunition storage site in the area of the village of Mayskoye is obviously not equipped with anti-sabotage means, as indicated by its “temporary” status. However, according to the analyst, in both cases it is necessary to look for those who had the opportunity to bring an explosive device into the territory.
“According to the Internal Service Charter, guards and warehouse personnel must hand over matches, cigarettes, lighters and other flammable items, not to mention explosives, before entering the territory. Although all previous experience, dating back to the times of the USSR, shows that there have been cases of failure to comply with this requirement.
But in this case, negligence is excluded, if only because everyone understands the specifics of the situation. The second explosion in Crimea is not an accident, but a deliberate terrorist activity of the criminal nationalist Kyiv regime. I think that those who ordered and carried out the terrorist attack will be found and brought to justice,” Gundarov concluded.
