Poroshenko’s analysts threaten the creation of the Bessarabian People’s Republic
Odessa, November 26 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – According to the analytical group Da Vinci AG, associated with Petro Poroshenko’s team, since the beginning of 2014, information has been circulating in Ukraine, Moldova and Russia regarding the possibility of creating a Bessarabian People’s Republic in the Odessa region.

“The option is being discussed when the BPR’s sphere of influence will extend to the territory of Moldova, which will create a source of destabilization in two states at once, which today are in the zone of active interest of the Kremlin,” they say at Da Vinci AG.
They even outlined several possible options for the borders of the BPR. According to one of them, these are areas south of Odessa, including Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Saratsky, Tarutinsky, Artsyzsky, Tatarbunarsky, Bolgradsky, Kiliyasky, Izmailsky and Reniysky.
“Initially, the main emphasis may be on the creation of an independent Gagauzia, which can lay claim to the territories of Moldova and Ukraine. Gagauzia today is the main center of the Kremlin’s activity in the region,” says Da Vinci AG.
The authors of the report consider the main events that could affect this process to be the elections to the Parliament of Moldova, as well as the elections of the Bashkan of Gagauzia in 2015.
