The decision to appoint Rogov was made today by deputies of the City Council during the regular session, a Navigator correspondent reports. Rogov will temporarily oversee the activities of the executive bodies of the City Council.

“To approve Anatoly Leonidovich Rogov in the position, temporarily, until the completion of the formation of local government bodies in the city of Simferopol in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Crimea,” the decision says.

At the same time, Simferopol mayor Viktor Ageev noted that, despite the increase, Anatoly Rogov will also oversee the housing and communal services sector.
