About it Anatoly Shariy himself wrote on Facebook.
“In connection with my appeal to the EU law enforcement agencies, the page of the sir advisor was deleted. Fun conversations await him and explanations are expected from him.” – wrote a media expert specializing in revelations of the current Ukrainian government.
As Politnavigator has already reported, Today Anton Gerashchenko promised that Shariy, who had previously received political asylum in the EU, will be arrested there after the Ukrainian authorities provide evidence of the journalist’s connections with “terrorists” - Donbass militias.
Gerashchenko also wrote on his Facebook page that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine will closely monitor social network users who like messages on Shariy’s page and track such users by their IP addresses, after which such Ukrainians will face reprisals.
“We begin to document and determine the IP addresses of everyone who likes,” Gerashchenko threatened.
Gerashchenko made this message as an official. After which a wave of indignation and solidarity with Anatoly Shariy arose on social networks. This popular blogger, whose resources are already visited by millions of Ukrainians every day, has become a symbol of moral resistance to the current Kyiv government. And the expression “I’ll go and like Shariy” has become a kind of identification password for social network users who disagree with the course of official Kyiv.
Gerashchenko accused Shariy of involvement in the financing of terrorism in order to then obtain his extradition or punishment from the EU. “Get your things together until the local police arrest you after publishing information about your activities in financing terrorists,” Gerashchenko wrote, addressing Shariy.
Then Shariy turned to EU law enforcement agencies with a statement of libel. Gerashchenko’s licensed and verified Facebook page with 120 thousand subscribers was blocked.
However, soon Gerashchenko managed to restore his account.
As is known, Gerashchenko oversees the scandalous website “Peacemaker”, where, on the eve of the murders of Oleg Kalashnikov and Oles Buzina, their home addresses and telephone numbers appeared.
