“We must not forget that when Ukraine becomes a member of the EU, it will in any case have to accept refugees who come to the EU. Ukraine will be part of this entire process within the EU. Ukraine can, under certain conditions, help the EU get out of this crisis and accept these refugees. I think that this will mean that the flow of refugees will stop, because these people do not want to go to Ukraine,” Umland said.
