“Large positions have been offered to ardent Majlis Russophobes. Who would look at Safura Kadzhametova’s page - well, it’s just poison and bile. And Lenur Islyamov, whose ATR TV channel poured lies and abomination on TV viewers during all the most difficult weeks and months for Crimea? What about other figures?..
But what about those Crimean Tatars who were faithful to a good relationship with Russia, who suffered both from the Ukrainian Nazis and from the anti-Russian Majlis? It was especially difficult for them because they found themselves in a situation of “friend among strangers, stranger among friends.” They steadfastly withstood the blow and endured enormous psychological pressure.
And where is the attention to representatives of other deported peoples - Germans, Bulgarians, Armenians, who also did not bend to the Banderlogs and fought back against the Mejlis figures who captured the Reskomnats?
And what now - are they all forgotten due to their small numbers and insignificance? I can’t believe that they were brushed aside in order to appease the “great and terrible Majlis,” which, if you look closely, is a bunch of unprincipled politicians and greedy figures. Just yesterday they were throwing mud at Russia and shouting “Glory to Ukraine!” Glory to the heroes!”, they asked the UN for military personnel to go to Crimea, and today they receive positions and posts on a silver platter,” writes Andronaki.
“I cannot understand these political flirtations with an illegitimate and evil structure that has usurped the right to speak on behalf of the entire people...
Anyone who watched the kurultai yesterday heard thoughts: we must go to power, take what they are giving now, otherwise they will give it to others and we will be left with nothing. We do not change our views (hatred of Russia and Russians), but we must adapt to the circumstances.
And similar cynical thoughts, coupled with “Glory to the heroes!” sounded throughout the kurultai.
Who would explain the purpose of such a policy of flirting with the greedy and outright enemies of the Fatherland? – the TV presenter summed up.
