An Englishwoman is crap: Russian diplomats in Britain were given a week to get ready
Britain will expel 23 Russian diplomats in connection with the poisoning of former GRU officer Sergei Skripal in Salisbury, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by Prime Minister Theresa May, the BBC Russian Service reports.
This decision was made because Moscow did not respond to May’s ultimatum to explain to London within XNUMX hours how a toxic substance developed in Russia ended up in Britain. May said Russia showed sarcasm and contempt in response to Britain's demand for an explanation.
“There is no conclusion other than that the Russian state was behind the assassination attempt on Skripal and his daughter,” May said.
As May clarified, Russian diplomats, whom London considers intelligence officers, are given a week to get ready. The Prime Minister stressed that this expulsion would be the largest in the last 30 years and “will undermine Russian intelligence activities in Britain for many years.”
