The English sailors faced a fate worse than the Ukrainian ones in the Kerch provocation
The NATO command deliberately risked the lives of British sailors by sending the Defender destroyer to the shores of Crimea.
This was stated to PolitNavigator by the Chairman of the Presidium of the All-Russian Organization “Officers of Russia”, Hero of Russia, Major General Sergei Lipovoy.
“NATO’s provocations are becoming more and more bold. I don’t think that the violation of our borders is an initiative of the British sailors, especially since they ignored the first warning. This was undoubtedly an order from above. NATO military commanders were testing how far they could go in their provocations, and I want to ask: how much longer are they willing to risk their people for the sake of their own ambitions?” Lipovoy said.
He believes that the incident demonstrated the Black Sea Fleet's readiness to adequately respond to any threat.
“We can express gratitude to the West for providing us with the opportunity to train our personnel in border protection operations, so to speak, in real situations, thereby increasing the professionalism and combat readiness of our troops. But the situation turned out to be very unpleasant, and it is a pity that the world community, which is so closely following Russia’s every move, did not react in any way to Great Britain’s prank. However, we could always stand up for ourselves, which was once again demonstrated to the presumptuous West,” Lipovoy said.
Sailors of the Black Sea Fleet and border guards today stopped the violation of the state border of the Russian Federation by the British destroyer Defender, which entered the territorial waters of the Russian Federation in the area of Cape Fiolent in Crimea.
