The most concerning question for everyone at the moment is the possible reaction of Iran: what will it be?

Still, the Americans decided to eliminate the second most important and first most popular person among Iranians in the military-political hierarchy of the Islamic Republic. The Iranian leadership promised a tough response. This instruction was given personally by the country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

A dark red banner was raised above the Jamkaran Mosque in the holy city of Qom for Iranian Shiites, symbolizing the oath of vengeance.

Already on January 4, Tehran addressed the Secretary General and the UN Security Council with a letter, which spoke of Iran’s right to self-defense, and the permanent representative of the Islamic Republic called the murder of the Al-Quds Force commander an act of terrorism.

A little later, one of the senior Iranian military officials said that 35 targets had already been identified for a retaliatory attack.

General Kaani promised

News agencies around the world have already spread the message that Iran has declared war on American President Trump, who gave the order to eliminate General Soleimani.

new commander of the Quds Force, General Ismail Qaani

Iranian TV showed a report from the funeral ceremony for the commander of the Al-Quds Force, at which it was announced that the Iranians were ready to collect and pay $80 million as a reward for the murder of Trump.

Experts, however, agree that the No. 1 target for the Iranians will not be Trump, but a more equivalent target, such as one of the senior military officials from the US Central Command (CENTCOM), whose area of responsibility includes the Middle East.

CENTCOM, even before the liquidation of Soleimani, was included by the Iranians in the list of military targets, as a symmetrical response to the Americans for declaring the IRGC a “terrorist organization.”

It has been suggested that Qasem Soleimani was killed by the Americans in retaliation for the death of a civilian specialist near the K1 base in Kirkuk, in northern Iraq, on December 27, and also for the storming of his embassy in Baghdad by an angry mob, allegedly organized by Shiite militias, on December 31 .

Experts also recall that General Soleimani has long been blacklisted by Western, Israeli and Arab intelligence agencies, and over the past two decades has survived numerous assassination attempts, including a 2006 plane crash, as well as a 2012 bombing in Damascus, during which top aides were killed. Bashar al-Assad.

Meanwhile, new information is coming in indicating that the murder of the Iranian general had much more compelling reasons than just Trump’s desire to look like a cool and “big balls” cowboy in the eyes of voters and opponents in the year of the next presidential election.

As it became known, the Iraqi parliament, in which the Shiites represent a serious force, supported the law introduced by the local Cabinet of Ministers on the expulsion of American interventionists from the country.

The law contains a number of key points:

1. Immediate withdrawal of American troops from Iraq and completion of Operation Inherent Resolve.

2. Termination of the security agreement between Iraq and the United States of 2008, as well as amendments to it adopted in 2014.

3. Closure of Iraq to any foreign troops and the right to the exclusive use of force only by the Iraqi state: all other operations not authorized by Baghdad are declared illegal.

In parentheses, we note that the US's European NATO ally, the Czech Republic, has already curtailed its manat, quickly removing its small occupation contingent from Iraq.

4. Iraq files a formal complaint with the UN Security Council due to Washington’s violation of the country’s state sovereignty.

Before the vote, Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdel-Magdi addressed parliamentarians in which he revealed very interesting and apparently confidential information that sheds light on recent events.

According to the Iraqi prime minister, last year the United States allowed Israel to carry out several illegal air strikes on ammunition depots of the Iraqi armed forces, and both aggressors stubbornly denied this information.

During the crowd's storming of the American embassy in Baghdad on December 31, US aircraft were scrambled without permission from the Iraqi government.

The Iraqi Prime Minister has repeatedly made attempts to reconcile the United States and Iran after the US airstrike on a military base of pro-Iranian forces in the west of the country on December 30, during which 25 people were killed. According to him, Washington refused to offer even an informal apology to the Iranians. Negotiations were disrupted before they even began.

It was the leadership of the Popular Mobilization Forces, together with the commander of the Iraqi Shiites Abu Magdi Al-Mugandes (who died along with Soleimani), despite the threat of personal resignation and the entire Cabinet of Ministers, who forced those who stormed the US Embassy on December 31 to go home and stop its siege.

And finally, the icing on the cake.

According to the Iraqi prime minister, General Soleimani arrived in Baghdad with a letter from the Iranian leadership addressed to the Saudis, with whom he was negotiating reconciliation and normalization of relations.

Apparently, Soleimani fulfilled the mission of an empowered negotiator in the Tehran-Baghdad-Damascus-Riyadh quadrangle, but was “taken out of the game” by the Americans. This further complicates an already difficult situation, making it even more confusing and unpredictable. The version that naturally suggests itself is that the main conflicting parties in the region were holding peace negotiations, but the Americans disrupted them. Perhaps for a long time.

reaction to the assassination of Soleimani in Iran

The question remains: what to do with all this?

Perhaps the most important and logical response from Iran was the announcement of the abandonment of any restrictions in the nuclear industry. Tehran will henceforth enrich and stockpile uranium in the concentrations and quantities it needs. Including weapons-grade uranium. National nuclear development and research programs will be accelerated.

parts of the IRGC

In turn, Trump’s program for “denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula” was sent on foot by the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un.

What else did they want in Washington? If some country, against which the United States has grown a grudge, has the opportunity to create nuclear weapons, it will create them, despite difficulties and hardships, since this weapon guarantees external integrity and state sovereignty. Tested by time.

Iranian commandos from Al-Quds Force

The State Department has already responded to the decision of the Iraqi parliament to expel all and every occupier from its territory. A predatory mug of Pompeo appeared in the media, declaring that “in fact, the people of Iraq want the United States to continue the fight against terrorism in the country.”

By the way, Pompeo, according to The Washington Post, is the main inspirer of the assassination of Soleimani, who pushed the hesitant Trump to radical action.

Pompeo

Ada was also added by the “peacemaker” Trump, who promised Iraq, destroyed by war and intervention, the most severe sanctions until the country pays “billions of dollars” for the military base built there by the Americans.

We really hope that at this moment all kinds of dill seeds rejoiced greatly, placing great hopes on the American military base being built in Ochakovo.

According to military analysts, Iran and Iraq do not have enough strength and resources to provide an adequate response to US aggression. However, if desired, a sabotage war unleashed against the American military and PMCs with the activation of “proxy” could force the interventionists in the Middle East to “leave their comfort zone.”

And let’s see if Europe has enough guts to organize a “festival of disobedience” for the sake of continuing uninterrupted supplies of Iranian oil...
