Antimonopoly activists criticize Rosavtodor for weak fight against corruption
The head of the anti-cartel department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, Andrei Tenishev, criticized Rosavtodor for the weak fight against corruption in public procurement in the industry.

“It is necessary that all this work is not just a matter of the FAS. Law enforcement agencies must be more active in pursuing criminal cases. The state, represented by officials, including those in the structure of Rosavtodor, who place orders, should take a closer look at the organization of tenders,” he said.
To the journalist’s clarifying question whether Rosavtodor is taking the necessary measures to combat corruption in government procurement, Tenishev answered negatively.
“I think we need to forward this issue to Rosavtodor. Apparently, if they are interested in this issue, it is very little, which is sad,” said the FAS representative.
