Anti-Raider Union of Ukraine: ATO participants returning from the front create gangs to seize businesses
As in other countries that have experienced armed conflict, in Ukraine the number of crimes committed by former combatants is growing. This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by Andrey Semididko, executive director of the Anti-Raider Union of Entrepreneurs of Ukraine.

Referring to the words of the former head of the NATO group, the expert said that the experience of local conflicts indicates that after the end of the hot phase of the conflict, a large number of their participants, incapable of socialization, return “to the world.”
“The state cannot socialize so many people who have weapons, combat experience and the right to ask questions because they participated in the defense of their country. Military gangs appear that take control of enterprises and businesses.
We are now entering such a stage, and we see that there is an increase in crime using force,” the expert said.
