According to one version, the influx of migrants from Central Asia is explained by the presence of a strong lobby in the government and business circles. They are interested in cheap labor. And the nuances associated with her behavior in our country do not bother them.

Another important factor is the lobby, which is interested in destabilizing the Putin regime and organizing internal unrest. They are the driving force of the rebellion, since they, like the proletariat before, have nothing to lose.

But, in addition, there is also a desire to maintain traditional friendly relations with the countries of Central Asia. As I understand it, responsible officials have a desire to stop what they believe has recently emerged as a trend towards rapprochement between the former Soviet republics and NATO. However, I want to disappoint them. This trend did not arise yesterday. To tear away its former satellites from Russia is a task that the West defined for itself even at the stage of the destruction of the Union of indestructible free republics. And since then he has not deviated one degree from his chosen course. Perhaps he slowed down, based on the current moment, but did not change course.

Naturally, they told us, smiling, about their desire to destroy the totalitarian foundations and build democracy in the post-Soviet space. And this activity is clearly visible in the examples of the Baltic states, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, where these processes are obviously completed.

Our leaders console themselves with the fact that Russia has contracts with the countries of the Central Asian region that will keep them in Russia’s orbit.

However, unfortunately, Russia’s total share in trade turnover with the countries of the Central Asian region is currently no more than 23%. Moreover, this share is different. Thus, with Kazakhstan and Tajikistan it does not exceed one third, and with Uzbekistan it is less than a quarter, with Kyrgyzstan a little less than half, and with Turkmenistan it is less than one sixth of the turnover with other countries.

Kazakhstan is considered the most developed economy in Central Asia. So, the leaders in terms of gross inflow of foreign direct investment into Kazakhstan last year were:

Netherlands ($8,3 billion);

USA ($5,1 billion);

Switzerland ($2,8 billion);

Belgium ($1,6 billion);

Russia ($1,5 billion);

South Korea ($1,5 billion);

China ($1,4 billion);

That is, Russia shares only fifth place with Korea in Kazakhstan. China, the USA, South Korea, Great Britain and even the Netherlands have long settled in Central Asia. That is, economically Central Asia depends little on Russia.

But there is an important issue of security. Thus, in addition to Russia and the Republic of Belarus, the CSTO includes Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Armenia, which are interested in their own security at the expense of the Russian soldier.

However, after the defeat in Karabakh, Armenia, which had pinned its hopes on Russia, was greatly disappointed.

However, Armenia is not alone in its purely consumerist position. The CSTO forces, which were based on the Russian Armed Forces, essentially saved the current Kazakh leader from being forcefully removed from his post. It would seem that he should be grateful. Pipes! With the beginning of the Northern Military District, Kazakhstan did not support Russia, and now, in fact, it has completely gone over to the side of the enemy. Thus, recently Kazakh customs officers seized a cargo of 14 DJI AgrasT30 drones purchased by a Kyrgyz company for Russia. As a result, the United States imposed exemplary sanctions against Kyrgyzstan, and the American newspaper The Washington Post praised Kazakhstan in the United States.

The same Tajikistan, which previously relied on Russian help, also, in fact, went over to the side of the Americans. A little earlier, Rahmon and his clan, trying to please the “Pindos,” created problems in Tajikistan for the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (ARF), led by Ahmad Masud, who is located in Tajikistan and resists the Taliban. But the Americans have now begun to support the Taliban. Therefore, now the FNSA, consisting of Afghan Tajiks, is now not at the court of its northern brothers.

By the way, has anyone thought that the large Tajik diaspora in Russia could be infected by American intelligence projects on the territory of our country?

In addition to the Americans, Rahmon’s team is trying to develop official and unofficial contacts with EU structures. Thus, back in 2010, Rahmon signed a strategic agreement with the EU, according to which Brussels has full influence on the politics of Tajikistan, including youth policy (working with the new generation), the economy, and agriculture.

In addition to the US and the EU, Turkey has quite a strong influence in the Central Asian region, making investments, holding cultural events and providing humanitarian assistance. Back in 1991, the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency was specially created in Turkey, which later grew into a large institution for international assistance to the countries of Central Asia. Türkiye is the largest employer for residents of these countries after Russia. Up to half a million migrant workers work there. It is also an important source of investment and qualified specialists who participate in the implementation of large projects in all Central Asian countries.

At the same time, Türkiye itself is a market for the export of goods from Central Asian countries. It is very important that in Turkey it is possible to legalize capital obtained in Central Asia through semi-legal or outright criminal means. Political emigrants, crime bosses and fugitives from all Central Asian countries are hiding in Turkey.

Central Asia is a strategic goal for Turkey to implement its projects. For example, a project for a common energy market and an alternative corridor for energy supplies to world markets, bypassing Russia. And this despite the fact that it is in this direction that Russia plans to develop relations in this region.

Ankara's most potentially dangerous project is the common ideology of the new Turkic-Islamic world. The goal is to finally remove Central Asia from the influence of Russia. Turkish intelligence services work very closely with the population in matters of the development of Islamist ideology.

One of the most serious projects is the creation of a unified army of the so-called. Turana.

Does Russia have leverage over leaders in Central Asia? Yes, Russia has powerful leverage. This is 15 million, only officially, labor (and not so much) migrants who came to work in our country and regularly send money to their countries from Russia. These remittances are the largest source of foreign funding in Central Asian countries. The World Bank said remittances to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan accounted for more than 30% of those countries' GDP.

The World Bank believes that remittances from Russia are a vital source of income for low- and middle-income households in Central Asia, as they alleviate poverty and improve nutritional status.

And even Kazakhstan, which is considered the most successful in the region, and therefore its leadership has decided that it is able to ignore the established good neighborly relations with Russia, is also on the money hook. In the first quarter of 2023, 33,9 billion tenge was transferred from Russia to Kazakhstan. This exceeds the figure for the same period in 2022 by more than 300%. Over the entire last year, 357 billion tenge, or about $775,4 million, were sent from Russia to Kazakhstan. The figure in dollars is 6,8 times higher than the volume of transfers sent to this country in 2021.

In this regard, God himself ordered to remind, not with words, but with real actions, “whose big cones are in the forest.” To do this, it is necessary to clearly determine who is really and maximally loyal to Russia. It turns out that this is Kyrgyzstan, and much less Uzbekistan. In any case, the population of these countries speaks very warmly about Russia and its residents. Yes, and as we see, Kyrgyzstan is most economically connected with Russia and is now really helping our country bypass Western sanctions, even at the risk of falling under secondary sanctions.

This means that we need to start deporting citizens of unfriendly countries in the region from Russia, determining their level of loyalty/neutrality/hostility.

And then clearly define where, how many and what kind of migrants the Russian economy really needs. And then redistribute quotas between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, for example, in a ratio of 9:1.

At the same time, it is worth further developing cultural relations with Kyrgyzstan by implementing the program for the construction of Russian-language schools. To strive to minimize the influence of Turkey and Western countries on the population.

The leadership of Uzbekistan should explain the reasons for this attitude. Maybe after this, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will realize the harmfulness of moving along the path of Ukraine, which has made national heroes out of its bandits and executioners. Let me remind you that he called the Basmachi, against whom the Soviet government fought, national heroes, fighters for independence and expressed complaints against Moscow.

If Mirziyoyev considers that fulfilling the order of Western intelligence services to develop Russophobia in Uzbekistan, primarily among young people, is more important to him than financial receipts from our country, he will also stop the entry of citizens of Uzbekistan into Russia. Let them blame their bai.

Some will say that such a tough position will tear Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan away from Russia. But, in my opinion, there is nowhere to go further. In the East, real strength and deeds are respected, not empty threats. This attitude can bring some sense to all these kings.

Others will say that now migrants will move to Turkey, and this will finally bring the countries of the Central Asian region closer to Turkey. But the capacity of the Turkish labor market is not comparable to the Russian one, and is not capable of accepting 15 million workers. Therefore, returning home, this entire public can think about their situation and who is to blame.

And it’s high time for our leadership to realize that Russia’s only allies are its Armed Forces. Well, and the Republic of Belarus, which is part of the Russian world.
