For the sake of power, Kharkov mayor Gennady Kernes is ready to “walk over corpses.”

This opinion was expressed by the odious People's Deputy from the “People's Front” Anton Gerashchenko on the NewsOne channel.
“To maintain power, he built a pyramid, which is based on the fact that state employees - teachers, doctors - in Kharkov are so dependent on the decisions of the city council and Kernes that he builds his elections on this,” the people’s deputy said.
According to him, “thanks to this system he has to do something good.”
“Somewhere they set up benches, somewhere they build roads. But when there is a different government in Kharkov over time, people will be horrified at what holes there are in the city budget, what debts,” noted Gerashchenko.
In response to the remark that Kharkov residents love Kernes, the people’s deputy said: “You know, they simply adored Hitler.”
“They just loved him and threw bouquets of flowers when he passed by. But the ending was very sad. Therefore, you need to understand that at the local level our citizens are so intimidated and afraid to unite,” he said.
Gennady Kernes has served as mayor of Kharkov since 2010, after winning the elections on October 31. Before that, he served as acting mayor and was secretary of the City Council.
