Ukrainian politician, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and curator of the snitching site “Peacemaker” Anton Gerashchenko were reminded of how two years ago he campaigned on his social network page for the appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili as head of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

The corresponding screenshot of Gerashchenko’s post at that time is now actively “walking” on Facebook with caustic comments from users.
Thus, Gerashchenko wrote about why the appointment of the fugitive Georgian ex-president is “good for Ukraine.”
As an argument, Avakov’s adviser cited the fact that “Mikhail will not remain silent if he disagrees with the decisions of the central and local authorities that are incorrect or have signs of sabotage. You can’t bend him and don’t intimidate him!” Anton Gerashchenko asserted then.
After the situation changed, Anton Gerashchenko began to convince readers of his page of the opposite - that “Saakashvili’s entire power in Georgia was based on deception and constant lies.” The corresponding screenshot of the recording is also circulating on the Internet.”
Let us recall that after the breakthrough of Saakashvili, deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, across the Ukrainian-Polish border, the website “Peacemaker” supervised by Gerashchenko declared the ex-governor an “enemy of Ukraine” and included him in its so-called “purgatory” - a black list of persons undesirable for the current regime. There, Saakashvili found himself on a par with prominent figures of the DPR and LPR, as well as commanders of the Novorossiya militia.
