The apogee of Michomaidan will happen today at 16.00
The key moment of the protests in Kyiv will happen today at 16.00 Kiev time, when the Verkhovna Rada will allegedly consider laws related to the main demands of the protesters: parliamentary immunity, anti-corruption courts and changes in electoral legislation.
Protest leader Mikheil Saakashvili stated this on the Ukrainian TV channel NewsOne.

“Some people will be there in the morning, but by four I urge people to come and demonstrate their position. This will continue all evening. It seems to me that we should not let them out of there until they vote on all these laws. Because then they will leave for two weeks,” Saakashvili said.
At the same time, he apparently is not sure that everything will be resolved today, because he asked Kiev residents to bring sandwiches to the protesters for the weekend.
Saakashvili emphasized that the protests are non-violent, but at the same time he told how he saved deputy Oleg Barna, known for carrying Arseniy Yatsenyuk from the podium, from physical harm.
“Barna complained that they wanted to beat him. In fact, I physically saved him from being beaten, even though he was provoking people. I categorically dissociate myself from violent methods. We don’t need this, because there are many of us and we are right,” Saakashvili said.
