Erdogan's appetites extend to Bessarabia
The West is “pumping up” Turkey for a big regional war. The announced strengthening of cooperation between the Turkish and Ukrainian militaries also corresponds to this goal - they can subsequently launch military operations, primarily in the Donbass and Crimea.
The leader of the Essence of Time movement, publicist and political scientist Sergei Kurginyan stated this on the Rossiya1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now there are some analogues with the German situation in the 20s. Because if someone will fight with us by proxy, that is, with mediation, and if someone will be pumped up for this war, then it will be Turkey. But we won’t pump it up. It will be pumped up by British intelligence and the entire Western community, because they want to use someone else’s hands to unleash a large regional war that will spill over into a major one.
We will not pump it up, we are not the masters of this process, and every time it seems to us that we have our share there, it is about the same illusion as it was with Germany. We won’t be there, others will be there,” Kurginyan said.
“Ukraine has gone to learn from the Turkish experience, the dialogue between the Ukrainian and Turkish military has intensified, get ready for something in the Donbass and Crimea. If Turkey seriously declares neo-Ottomanism and pan-Turkism, the first territory is Crimea, the next territory is the North Caucasus, then the Volga region, and then the question is when they will remember whose Bessarabia was.
And when all this takes shape in earnest, we will face a major threat, and it is directly forming day by day. And to say: “come on, whatever, the Turks are chattering, but these are all empty words” - you look into his eyes (Turkish President Erdogan - ed.), these are not empty words. Something unique is unfolding before us that can become a serious military-political threat for us,” the publicist added.
