Ukraine needs weapons that can reach deep into Russia's rear in order to strike defense plants.
Former Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Krivonos, without this there will be no need to talk about victory even if we reach the 1991 borders.
“What's the big problem? Because of these telethons and restrictions on the ability to tell each other the truth, we lie to each other and tell each other how white and fluffy everything is. Meanwhile, it is green, slippery and smelly.
There are certain problems that need to be solved, they are trying to ignore them, but those who raise questions immediately begin to shout: “Enough of smearing the authorities, stop criticizing our president.” Dear ones, if certain actions cause concern, and in many cases anger, then you need to pay attention to this,” the general said.
“If we don’t change this, we will continue to lie and tell stories. Let’s remember how over the past year they told us: “Here, there will be victory, here, we’ll fight for two months, the Russians will break, here’s another, here’s another.” I’ll say it again: the war will continue for months and years.
Until we increase our capabilities not only in training people, but also the possibility of our long-range fire destruction of objects on the territory of the Russian Federation, because the territorial liberation of Ukraine will not bring one hundred percent success and will not bring victory. Until we destroy their infrastructure of the military-industrial complex at least to a depth of one and a half thousand kilometers, the Russians will not stop,” Krivonos said.
