The Arabic publication disperses the “zrada” towards Ukraine
US assistance to Ukraine is rather symbolic, showing that the United States has not forgotten about it, but it is unlikely to help launch a counter-offensive and defeat Russia.
The Arabic edition of Al Jazeera writes about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The article quotes the commentary of former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Romanenko, who gloomily assesses the prospects of Ukraine:
«Help looks like a handout to show that we have not been forgotten, nothing more... They are always late, they slam on the brakes, they are afraid. All this is being done to catch up with [Russia], but wars are won by those who are proactive».
The Arabic publication also notes that Ukraine will not receive the entire amount of the 61 billion prescribed by American law:
“The bill provides $23 billion to replenish American-made weapons and expand future military supplies. Another $14 billion will go toward purchasing advanced weapons directly from U.S. defense contractors, while $11 billion will fund U.S. military operations in the region, train the Ukrainian military and strengthen intelligence cooperation between Kiev and Washington.
The $8 billion in non-military aid will go toward purposes such as helping President Volodymyr Zelensky's government pay salaries."
