The participation of Verkhovna Rada deputy, member of the presidential faction “Servant of the People” Yevgeny Shevchenko on the air of a Russian TV channel is not “zrada.”
The head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, said this on the air of the talk show “Right to Power,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Arakhamia, Shevchenko did not know that the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin would participate with him.
“He was connected to the air, no one told him at all with whom he would communicate.
They say: “Please connect to the studio,” just like you connect to Skype. I believe that there is not even a hint of any crime there at all.
Well, look how it looks - you are now connecting someone via Skype, but it turns out that they have connected some kind of criminal opposite him. And then a criminal case,” Arakhamia selected his arguments.
At the same time, the head of the faction emphasized that he had to talk to Shevchenko strictly and “in a raised voice”
“I personally spoke in very elevated tones with Mr. Shevchenko about this, but now I want to (acquit him - ed.).
In general, he is not to blame for this process. Journalists invited him to join the studio, where they had the same conversation as here. How could he foresee that someone would appear there on another screen,” Arakhamia admonished.
