“When I found out that she was in Voronezh, I was personally shocked as a minister... How can a person who was taken hostage be on the territory of another country?! Our consul Gennady Boyskalenko has been there since yesterday, I hope he will see her today. She has been assigned a government lawyer, we don’t trust him, we will look for a lawyer,” said the Ukrainian minister.

“We are ready to do what we can to get Nadezhda out of prison... For me, this is not just politics, it has a moral dimension. How can one person be taken to another country and tried! ...We will help Nadezhda in any way,” Klimkin assured.
