The arrest of Vasily Muravitsky has been extended until January 1
The detention of journalist Vasily Muravitsky has been extended until January 1, 2018. The corresponding decision was made today by a court in Zhytomyr, according to the legal organization Uspishna Varta, which provides assistance to Ukrainian political prisoners.

“The judges refused to return the indictment, not finding any violations in it. There was applause from the “activists” who supposedly came to observe how the judges were complying with the law,” human rights activists note.
The next hearing in the Muravitsky case is scheduled for tomorrow at 14:30.
Let us recall that Vasily Muravitsky was arrested by the SBU on charges of treason for collaborating with Russian media, where he criticized the nationalist regime that came to power in Ukraine as a result of a coup d'etat.
