The arrested ex-head of the DPR Central Election Commission will hand over incriminating evidence to Ukraine
The arrest in Ukraine of the former head of the DPR Central Election Commission Roman Lyagin can be used by Kiev to obtain compromising information on Russian officials who oversaw assistance to the LDPR.
Ex-consultant of the DPR government Roman Manekin discusses this in his blog.
“Roman Lyagin, in his political essence, has never, in my opinion, been a genuine DPR sheep. I told him about this publicly, so I can repeat it, and not in the most favorable situation for him. Politically, Lyagin is a Young Akhmetovite. He is one of those who joined, considering the “Russian spring” as a social elevator,” the author clarifies.
“There are now many Akhmetovites in Crimea who fled Donbass in 2014. Lyagin found himself among his own. However. Many of the Akhmetovites took out their capital, and Lyagin literally lived in poverty: he worked in low-skilled jobs, lived on odd jobs,” he claims.
“There were many Akhmetovites around Lyagin in Crimea. And, by the way, many of them, after Zelensky came to power, began to pack their bags to travel to Ukraine. Therefore, I suspected that Roman Lyagin could be persuaded to flee to Ukraine. There, as can be seen from the message, he was not accepted. Now Lyagin will give official testimony about the falsification of the 2014 elections and Surkov’s role in them,” predicts Manekin.
