Suspects of assassination attempt on Parubiy and Maidan protesters arrested - Avakov
Kyiv, February 01 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov announced the detention of suspects in an attempt on the life of First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubiy and the “Maidanovites” from Self-Defense.

Other detainees include an employee of a private security agency and a Russian citizen who tried to evacuate the performer to Russian territory, Avakov claims. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the group’s actions were coordinated by a State Security officer.
