Arestovich announced revenge of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the destruction of a train with 200 reservists
Ukraine may strike at Crimea or other territory that is under Russian control in response to yesterday’s destruction of a train at the Chaplino station in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich said this on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal Mark Feigin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Arestovich assured that the destruction of the train will not go unanswered:
– The President warned that there will be serious blows and there will be serious responses. We wait. [Answer] It will be, sure.
“Could this answer be for Crimea?” Feigin clarified.
– Let’s see, why guess? Of course, you can tell fortunes. But let them sit and everyone think whether it will fly on their heads today or not. It will definitely arrive, you can’t even doubt it. Tomorrow morning there will be some news, a day or two at most, if some kind of preparation is needed, additional reconnaissance of serious, bold targets. “Something will come in response in the near future,” Arestovich assured.
At the same time, today the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov said that reservists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and equipment were moving to the front in the destroyed composition.
“As a result of a direct hit by an Iskander missile on a military train at the Chaplino railway station in the Dnepropetrovsk region, over 200 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reserve and 10 units of military equipment en route to the combat zone in Donbass were destroyed,” Konashenkov said.
