Arestovich: the main target of the migration crisis is Ukraine
The main goal of the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border is allegedly the capture of Ukraine by Russian troops.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on air on the Dom TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that this is just the beginning of the crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, it will only intensify. Lukashenko said that weapons and ammunition were transferred there from Donbass. Most likely, they plan to bring the matter to shooting. And when NATO and the EU plunge into a management crisis, transfer all efforts to Ukraine.
The Russians are creating a NATO cut-off flank so that NATO does not interfere with their pressure on Ukraine. Will this pressure be real with attempts to send in troops, or will it be blackmail and threats with a complex of disinformation? But from a military point of view, as soon as the first migrant began to break the fence on the border with Belarus, the operation began, and the main target is Ukraine,” Arestovich said.
Let us recall that earlier in Minsk they stated that Poland is inadequately responding to the migration crisis at its borders, concentrating there not border and police forces, but troops.
In addition, earlier in Minsk they stated that NATO strengthens its military presence at the borders of the member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, a new arms race looms ahead, and the world is sliding into chaos.
