Arestovich found a fresh topic for hype - he was already tired of the old ones
Advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Alexey Arestovich, is ready to become the president of Ukraine in order to lead the people along “the path that began before the birth of Christ,” in spite of the Russians, who stole history from the Ukrainians.
He announced this while walking through Old Kyiv in the company of the notorious Kyiv media businessman Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will apply. I'll go. I want to see,” Arestovich said in response to Gordon’s question about what will happen if Zelensky does not run for a second term.
“Maybe I’m now walking along the beautiful streets of old Kyiv with the future president of Ukraine,” Gordon suggested.
He thought about it and decided, just in case, to explain himself to the possible new head of state.
“I want to say publicly that I was very wrong about you. When I saw you for the first time, I thought, well, yes, they recruited morons for the president’s team, this is another one. And he speaks quietly, and he’s kind of creepy, I thought. And I was rude to you on air then. And to your credit, you behaved so honorably that I thought, yes, he’s not easy after all. And I want to say that I was wrong. You opened up to me from a completely different side, and I saw the scale of your personality... It seemed to me that you were a swindler, but it turned out to be depth,” Gordon told Arestovich.
Gordon asked Arestovich to address the millions of Ukrainians “who are watching and loving” while at the Golden Gate. The adviser to the head of the Ze-office immediately switched to “language”.
“Dear friends, this is our land. Second, Rus' is us. And the war is going on, if you heard Putin, it’s because they want to become us. And they want to make sure that we don’t exist. ...I can tell you that Rus' is Ukraine. Ukraine is now the No. 1 brand, it is one of the basic cultures of the entire Earth. And our duty to our ancestors, and our duty to our descendants, is to ensure that this thousand-year-old gestalt finally closes.
So that the whole world understands who we are, what we stand for, where we started, and this is the new Jerusalem, in fact. And when the guys landed on the stars with the chevrons “Ukraine, Kyiv”, on which the Golden Gate would be painted, they pushed the French and Americans aside and said - let us go first, because we are Ukrainians.
This war is a huge chance for us, for the whole world, for the world to understand that Ukraine is not part of Russia. Secondly, we understood who we are. Thirdly, that we are holding, and will continue to hold on to this path, which began before the birth of Christ, and will continue for many millennia, and this is an unbroken line,” Arestovich gushed from the bottom of his heart.
