Advisor to the head of the Presidential Office Alexey Arestovich said that his nephew with the same last name spent 39 days “under Russian occupation.” Alexey Arestovich wrote about this on Facebook.
“My nephew, a doctor, refused to leave his patients, stayed with them - with the surname “Arestovich” and spent 39 days under occupation. Just got in touch. Last names were never asked. None of the patients or local residents passed,” wrote the adviser to the head of the OP.
However, given Arestovich’s penchant for unbridled self-promotion and outright lies, there is an option that this story is a fiction from beginning to end.
