If it joins NATO, Ukraine will become the fourth country in the North Atlantic Alliance in terms of military potential.

Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the president’s office, stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Arestovich, Ukraine can significantly strengthen NATO rather than be a beggar for help.

“Technically we are ready. Moreover, we will add to the power of NATO. What you need to understand is that we are not going to NATO as supplicants with an outstretched hand, but we will add enormous power. Because besides the USA and Turkey or France, we are the fourth force in military power. At least in terms of the land component. Ukraine’s admission to NATO means new opportunities for NATO as well,” Arestovich said.
