Arestovich admitted to the “difficult situation” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donetsk direction
Russia has concentrated serious forces and is conducting successful offensive operations in the direction of Artemovsk (Bakhmut). In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces found themselves in a difficult situation in a number of other settlements.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal Mark Feigin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Arestovich, it is “not easy” for Ukrainian crossings in the Kharkov direction.
“I can immediately name the two hottest spots. You need to look at the area south of Bakhmut - Kodema, Travnevoye - it’s quite difficult there. How hard is it enough? You have to understand correctly, the enemy has concentrated forces and means there, and the concentration of forces and means is such a thing when it doesn’t give a damn what your motivation is, how tough a special forces soldier you are.
A 152mm projectile up to its ass, who are you, is guaranteed to solve the issue. And it’s not easy for our guys there, but they stand, once again showing what the Ukrainian infantry is,” the official said.
“It is clear that everything is the same in the Kharkov region, everything is the same in the Izyum direction, the same in the Seversky direction. But the concentration occurred south of Bakhmut and on Peski. Let's just say that the enemy is acting in the general direction, concentrating efforts and reserves in the general direction from Donetsk to Peski, Opytnoye, Spartak. Spartak is already behind them. It’s also not easy for our boys,” said Arestovich.
