Arestovich: There will be no referendum. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing towards Kherson
The organizers of the referendum on the annexation of the Kherson region to Russia will be severely punished with physical violence.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, made such threats on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal Mark Feigin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Arestovich, the Ukrainian army is allegedly moving towards Kherson and will not allow the referendum to be held.
“The rosy statements about the referendum look only terrifying. Many people asked me - so, we won’t be able to interfere with this referendum? Yes we can, my friends. All these statements have become more frequent with such force because the Ukrainian army is slowly reaching the city of Kherson. It’s as if we didn’t force this referendum down your throats, guys, the organizers, with your fake papers about the referendum. Let’s roll it into a tube, stick it in on both sides, you know,” said Arestovich.
At the same time, the President of Ukraine assures that the Ukrainian Armed Forces today are not able to conduct offensive operations.
Previously, the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov said The territories liberated during the special operation in Ukraine will become part of the Russian Federation.
