Arestovich decided to surrender Donbass by the end of August
By the time of the referendums appointed by Russia in the territories liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kyiv will be sufficiently supplied with Western weapons to launch a counter-offensive.
Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on the YouTube channel Ukrlife, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When, on the one hand, there is a constant supply, now Britain will gradually transfer the next ten self-propelled guns to us, Germany is transferring and so on. On the other hand, the main wave of weapons, a large baton, as they say, is expected by the fall. And now my guess, hypothesis. Why is the referendum scheduled for September 11, other than to troll Americans? Why at the end of the first ten days of September?
Because according to their plans, the referendum cannot be held immediately. Because you held a referendum, then seized new territories, then held a referendum again? How many such referendums will be needed? If referendums on annexation are scheduled in Kherson, Donetsk, Lugansk for September 11, it means that by mid-August they are planning to go on the defensive and stop attacking,” Arestovich reasoned.
At this moment, according to him, Kyiv will receive all the necessary weapons and go on the offensive.
“My hypothesis is that they plan to capture the Donetsk region in July, half of August, that’s what they plan. And somewhere by the end of August, they are trying to get into defense, which they are very actively creating now, 2-3 lines, in the Kherson, Zaporozhye direction. And then, we must understand that the offensive is only in the Donetsk direction. Because in Kherson, Zaporozhye, they closed the topic, they understand that they do not have enough troops. They will, of course, try to shoot down, maneuver, and counter-attack on ours, but this is more likely to divert forces. And they became involved in the defense industry, because they stupidly thought that they were no longer enough to continue, they thought.
This raises a question. Just at this moment we should begin serious system deliveries. And there are two phases: they are on the defensive, and we get a big club to beat them in this defense. I think it’s a wonderful story,” ranted the Ze-office adviser.
