Arrests in the Stronovo Caliphate
On Wednesday, October 12, in the village of Strogonovka, on the eastern outskirts of Simferopol, the operational services of the Crimean FSB for the fight against terrorism, with the participation of the Simferopol riot police "Berkut", searched the houses of several Crimean Tatars suspected of involvement in the extremist organization "Hizb ut- Tahrir", banned in Russia and many other countries. The search of the suspects' homes yielded results: electronic storage media, as well as subversive literature with extremist materials, were found and confiscated from them.
Five suspects were detained. Considering that the suspects are charged under a serious article, 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in terrorist activities), the court decided to impose a preventive measure on the detainees in the form of arrest for two months - until December 11, 2016.
The suspects do not admit their guilt, and their lawyers promise to appeal the decision of the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol to higher authorities.
A little history. The village of Strogonovka has always enjoyed peculiar popularity among Simferopol residents, since its main attraction was the regional (later republican) mental hospital. Many people who have committed strange acts could often hear addressed to them: “Have you escaped from Strogonovka?”
But already from the beginning of the 90s, the generally harmless “fame” of Strogonovka gradually began to change to something not entirely harmless. Deportees and crowds posing as deportees began to spontaneously return to Crimea. Land squatting and spontaneous construction of chicken coops began around Strogonovka. The settlers in Strogonovka were attracted not so much by the mental hospital as by the good land, proximity to a large city, developed communications, transport links and similar goodies.
Another thing is that the contingent of migrants turned out to be hectic and very conflict-ridden. If earlier mushroom pickers often wandered into the Stronovsky forest, then gradually aggressive settlers discouraged lovers of “quiet hunting” from appearing in the territory they had captured.
Until recently, no one knew anything about the “Hizbuts” in Strogonovka, although the neighboring Tatars from the valley of the Chekurchi River spoke about some Islamic sectarians entrenched in the squatter there.
Surely many have already watched the arrival of operatives in Kopay-town not far from Strogonovka. The hackneyed tricks that Crimeans have seen since the early 90s and from which they have become a little unaccustomed over the past two years immediately catch the eye: provoking operatives, using women to aggravate a conflict situation, joint ostentatious prayer, swearing, hysterics and exhortations on camera. A complete set of theater of the absurd, frenzy, frantic confidence in one’s own infallibility and the line of behavior “the law is not about us.”
A crowd of bearded activists crowded into the small premises of the Kievsky district court, where the detainees were taken. It is interesting that lawyers for “peaceful Muslims” on social networks and in the press insisted that their clients were specially brought to a small room in order to limit the presence of a support group of relatives and fellow villagers. Although, what the evil intent of the authorities is is completely unclear. The courthouse in the Kievsky district of Simferopol is really small. This was the case in the USSR, under Ukraine, and in Russian Crimea. Whatever it is, somehow hasn’t grown. Or did the bearded people and their lawyers need no less than the concert hall of the city Musical Theater for complete comfort?
The judge was not impressed by the collective guarantees for the detainees - how good and handsome they were. The migrants will never understand that the mutual responsibility that has not yet been eradicated in their closed communities will not help them in the courtroom. After all, they themselves said on camera that in that village everyone was related to each other. As Gleb Zheglov said in such cases, “What wife wouldn’t make an alibi for her husband? She will tell you what Father Varlaam and Grishka the Robber talked about in a tavern on the Lithuanian border.”
Therefore, all the stories about how the detainees are fathers of many children and exemplary family men are wonderful, but nothing more. And fathers with many children commit crimes and commit acts of terror.
And somehow it is very natural that the news of the arrest of Stronov’s “hizbuts” immediately escalated the Kasparysh and Mejlis evil spirits behind Perekop. Suddenly Chubarov spoke in defense of the Hizbuts. In general, you can often hear from those who are nationally perplexed: “I don’t care that they are “Hizbuts” - they are my fellow tribesmen first and foremost.” The law doesn't care.
But there was a time when Chubarik and his associates, at the mere mention of the “hizbuts” in Crimea, twitched with paralysis, spewed black foam and reviled them with the last words. After all, competitors. It’s just that the “Hizbuts” want to drive all Muslims into the world caliphate, and Chubarov for the last 25 years wanted to create his own khanate. Why does he need a common Islamic collective farm, where there is no one to call him?
On the other hand, the Hizbuts in Crimea and Ukraine were in bad standing. No matter how the defenders shout at all corners about the harmlessness of the movement of the global caliphate, Ukrainian operatives raked their weapons out of cellars and caches. So, all these “we assure you and guarantee you” are a long time ago and a kilometer past the cash register. And the fact that FSB operatives opened the weapons cellars of the “Hizbuts” and Mejlisoids during the Crimean Spring was witnessed by many hundreds of people. Not to mention how these leaders of “peaceful” Islam openly conspired to carry out a massacre at the opportunity and with the support of the Right Sector activists with the Maidan “hundreds”.
Well, the detainees were placed in isolation for two months, an investigation has been launched, investigators are conducting searches of those involved, the case is resonant. We'll wait for news in December.
