Armen Gasparyan: Poroshenko’s only achievement in three years is fake visa-free travel
Petro Poroshenko’s only achievement in the three years since his election to the presidency is a fake visa-free regime, which in practice the majority of Ukrainian citizens will not be able to take advantage of.
Russian publicist Armen Gasparyan told PolitNavigator about this.

“The past three years have been a complete collapse for Poroshenko. First of all, the bloodshed in Donbass has not been stopped; everything possible is being done to resume the escalation of violence at any moment. These are statements by Poroshenko, and actions of Turchynov, and laws adopted by the Verkhovna Rada.
The most important thing is the demonstrative reluctance to sit down at the negotiating table. What we see in Minsk at the meetings of the Contact Group is anything but a desire for a negotiation process.
From an economic point of view, the situation is even worse. There are no new businesses, and existing ones are closing. Prices for housing and communal services are rising, tariffs are already exceeding even pensions.
There is pressure on public opinion with the aim of creating a totalitarian government.
But, I remind you that Poroshenko went to the elections with a completely different program - he promised to end the bloodshed in Donbass in a few days, restore the economy, and bring the country to Europe.
What have you gained in three years – the agreements reached on visa-free travel? It’s wonderful, but it turned out that the Ukrainians don’t have the money for this. Here is the result of Poroshenko’s activities over three years. Whether he stays out or not is a question of how much character he has to resist Ukrainian radicals on a serious level,” Gasparyan explained.
