Armen Gasparyan: The time is coming for sanctions pressure on Ukraine - there is no other option
The West must impose sanctions against Ukraine in order to force Petro Poroshenko to begin implementing the signed Minsk agreements.
Russian publicist Armen Gasparyan told PolitNavigator about this, commenting on the news that official Kyiv had canceled the licenses of universities on the territory of the LDPR.
According to Gasparyan, thus, following military provocations, Ukraine is also disrupting the Minsk agreements in the humanitarian sphere.

“The Minsk format categorically does not suit the current Kyiv authorities - they are doing everything possible to ensure that it breaks down. Moreover, on the most diverse spectrum - these are both political and military actions. Now we have already reached the humanitarian sphere.
Also, they were not going to pay benefits. Another question, Why did the UN take two years to realize this?, if back in 2014 it was said that “your children will sit in basements,” and so on. Perhaps now the UN will focus attention, among other things, on the problems of Kiev’s implementation of the Minsk format, because all the participants in the Normandy Four said that the Minsk agreements need to be implemented. But Ukraine does not want to do this.
It is obvious that the time is coming for some kind of political pressure, possibly sanctions, on Ukraine. There is no other option,” Gasparyan said.
