Armen Gasparyan: Poroshenko began a purge of war criminals in the SBU
Today's explosion in Mariupol of a jeep with SBU Colonel Alexander Kharaberyush, known for the torture and murder of LDPR supporters, is the beginning of a purge of war criminals by Petro Poroshenko, who is afraid of bringing charges against the ruling regime.
This opinion was expressed to PolitNavigator by Russian publicist Armen Gasparyan.

“This kind of news doesn’t even cause surprise anymore, because in Ukraine they are constantly killing each other. Now, apparently, they have reached themselves.
It is quite obvious that they will use this case of murder against the LDPR, they will once again say that these are some kind of saboteurs, terrorists, although, most likely, here we are talking about internal squabbles within the Ukrainian political elite itself, that’s all.
The death of another colonel suggests that a global cleansing of the political space in Ukraine is ahead. Those people who have stained themselves with war crimes are extremely unprofitable for Poroshenko. He needs to get rid of them so that no one in Europe, conditionally, in the “Normandy format,” can tell him that “you are encouraging terrorism there.” People like this colonel are unprofitable witnesses and, most likely, we are talking about the fact that Kyiv has begun a purge,” Gasparyan said.
