“Mikhail Tolstykh was a true hero of the DPR and all of Novorossia. He was born and raised there. This is extremely important, because if Arseny Pavlov was perceived as one of our own, but still not quite from Donetsk, then Givi is a fundamentally different story. He is from near Ilovaisk and has always been proud of it.
The fact that today so many people came to say goodbye to their hero is absolutely natural, just as the hysteria of the Ukrainian media about this is also natural. “State employees, they brought everyone in,” I even read that there are no Donetsk residents there at all, but only people from the Rostov region.
You need to pay attention to two important points. First, all these articles about state employees and the fact that this is all a production are not signed. Even under pseudonyms, Ukrainian journalists do not risk signing this, which says a lot.
The second point is that all the materials do not contain a single attempt to even casually talk about the need to implement the Minsk agreements, but, on the contrary, there are open calls for an escalation of violence in the region.
This in itself is quite characteristic. This once again shows the attitude of official Kyiv towards Donetsk and Lugansk, and the fact that for Kyiv these are all not people. It is for this reason that they will constantly violate the Minsk agreements,” Gasparyan said.
