Armenia promises to respond with a “war of minds” to defeat in Karabakh
Yerevan does not intend to give up, even if Baku manages to take control of the territories in Nagorno-Karabakh, for which there are now fierce battles between Armenians and Azerbaijanis.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this in an interview with Kommersant, President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian stated
“When looking for a solution to the Karabakh problem, there is no real alternative to peaceful negotiations. Even if Azerbaijan manages, say, to win some part of the war or seize territories, it will still not end there. The war of minds, the war of stories, the war of human emotions will continue. In Armenia, people will think that this is another genocide. The war will not end. So there is only one way, when all parties agree on how to live further,” Sargsyan said.
Let us note that at the moment the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh is not developing in the best way for the Armenians, especially in the south, where a number of settlements have been lost.
