“Barricades on the streets, constant rallies and extremist calls, pogroms, fights with police, massacres, etc. – these are no longer revolutions in their classical sense, but elements of a hybrid war. This means that specially trained regular troops must neutralize these elements. Therefore, it is quite logical that the General Staff considers the so-called color revolutions as one of the forms of armed struggle and is already practically preparing to use troops in this war,” said military expert Lieutenant General Yuri Netkachev.
And according to corresponding member of the Academy of Military Sciences Eduard Rodyukov, exercises with military personnel from Serbia and Belarus make it possible to form a so-called international, which, if necessary, can come to the rescue: “The army must be able to restore order. It is important for the Russian leadership to have good allies who can come to their aid in difficult times.”
