The attack on the city led to panic among the townspeople. People hid in the forests and in the hospital building. Soon after the military repelled the attack, people returned to their homes. Lengo Songo journalists noted the heroism of the national army soldiers who sacrifice themselves every day to restore peace and tranquility in the country.
The successes of the republic's army in the fight against armed groups are largely due to the increased combat capability of government units. This was achieved by Russian instructors, whom foreign journalists associate with Wagner PMC. They organized professional training for the personnel of the African country's armed forces.
