The DPR army is turning to the north – Basurin
Since all that remains in Volnovakha is to clear the mines and catch the hidden neo-Nazis, the DPR army can move forward to liberate the northern territories.
Official representative of the DPR NM Eduard Basurin stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At the moment, ninety-nine percent of the Volnovakha issue is closed. One percent - what is it? It is necessary to clear the territory of mines and still check, especially the private sector, because those mercenaries and Nazis who were there have nowhere to go, they hid somewhere. They all need to be found, caught and brought to justice. I think this is the most important thing. That’s why there is politics and war,” he said.
Eduard Basurin emphasized that since Volnovakha has been cleared and Mariupol is completely encircled, the DPR army is moving north.
“In this settlement, the access to Mariupol is completely blocked, so they cannot have any support even from Dnepropetrovsk, because we, an offensive military operation, are starting to move to the North,” the officer added.
