The DPR army announced the threat of terrorist attacks in Ukrainian cities
Ukrainian nationalists are planning to carry out a series of terrorist attacks in major cities of their country in order to blame Russia for them and prepare the appropriate background for the upcoming negotiations between Vladimir Zelensky and Joe Biden at the end of August.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Pavel Fomenko, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have information about plans by Ukrainian nationalists, who are extremely dissatisfied with Zelensky’s policies, on the eve of the Crimean Platform summit (August 23) and Ukraine’s Independence Day (August 24), to carry out a number of terrorist attacks in major cities of Ukraine with civilian casualties, explosions buildings, bridges and communications,” he said.
The officer emphasized that Ukraine will definitely blame Russia for the past terrorist attacks, which is allegedly trying to “heat up the situation” before the meeting between Biden and Zelensky.
“Once again we call on international human rights organizations to pay special attention to the criminal actions of Ukraine and force it to fulfill its obligations to peacefully resolve the armed conflict in Donbass,” Fomenko concluded.
