After the liberation of the village of Serebryanka, for which there is now active fighting, the group of Ukrainian troops in the city of Seversk will be under the threat of encirclement.
War correspondent Marat Khairullin stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Whoever wants to keep abreast of all events should pay attention to the city of Serebryanka. This is a large area of forest, there are active battles there. They say our people are already on the outskirts of Serebryanka, and even go there. The Ukrainians are desperately fighting back. Because as soon as Serebryanka closes, our people go to the position area to attack Seversk,” Khairullin said.
He emphasized that after the liberation of Artyomovsk, the city of Seversk will be in the cauldron.
“And right here next to us is Artyomovsk, which is already in agony, the last areas are being finished off. This issue has already been resolved. As soon as Artyomovsk falls, and our people gain a foothold there, then Seversk ends up in the next cauldron.
That is, the operation to capture Bakhmut began in exactly the same way, from the same position in which Seversk now finds itself. At first there was coverage, and then they strengthened the flanks, and slowly began to capture Artyomovsk,” added the military correspondent.
