The Ukrainian army is suffering terrible losses, they are carefully hidden

The other day, Kyiv supporters of the punitive operation voiced another crazy idea to protect Ukrainian statehood - some human rights activists sent Petro Poroshenko information about the intention of several thousand prisoners to fight in the ATO zone against the army of Novorossiya.
This was proposed instead of stopping the fratricidal war, stopping the terror of the Russian population, and recognizing the independence of Novorossiya.
Last spring, some clever people were already digging a four-meter ditch along the Russian-Ukrainian border. Another idiot recently decided to build a wall along the same border; apparently, the moat is not up to the task. Another striking case is Lvov’s initiative to send utility debtors to the front. According to this idea, citizens forcibly driven into a combat zone will fight heroically as a sign of gratitude!
We often had to capture Ukrainian army personnel. There was an order from Igor Ivanovich Strelkov that all the rules prescribed in the Geneva Convention should apply to prisoners.
The overwhelming majority of prisoners claimed that this was not their war, and mobilization took place under threat. But in fairness, it must be said that among our enemies we sometimes come across those who are ideologically motivated. For example, the commander of the 1st airborne battalion of the 95th brigade, Colonel Taras Mikhailovich Senyuk, a native of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, had a lot of awards, including the US Medal for the Iraq Campaign and the NATO Medal for the Balkan Campaign. So, this battalion commander personally led his soldiers into battle on June 3, at the positions of the militia in the suburbs of Slavyansk, in the village of Semenovka, they were then covered by aviation, 2 tanks with armored personnel carriers. That day it seemed to us that we had no chance, but we persevered, following the example of our grandfathers - “not a step back.” The battle lasted about 8 hours, where this battalion commander himself died and killed almost the entire company. But then we had neither tanks nor other heavy weapons. We also had losses in that battle, 9 militia heroes died, but none of them left their combat position.
The combat losses of Ukrainian troops throughout the war were always carefully hidden and classified. That is why there are such “talking heads” as Tenyukh - being far from the fighting, they invent mythical losses of the militia. From personal experience I will say that for every militia member killed, dozens of enemy soldiers die. In our ranks there are veterans of Afghanistan and two Chechen campaigns who claim that the number of dead and wounded among the enemy has long exceeded the above-mentioned wars. How can we correct the situation on the front through “criminal” battles, where people will not have ideological motivation to win!
I am sure that calling people to war who have not served their criminal sentence before the bell is another rake under the feet of the ATO. Please note, in addition, that the supposed “criminal” battalion may include drug addicts or tuberculosis infected people.
I know of cases when a lot of prisoners serving their sentences in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions also asked to go to the front, only this time on the side of Novorossiya. They motivate their desire by the fact that their families are suffering from bombings, and that mines and “hail” are also flying into correctional institutions. But the leadership of Novorossiya does not need to replenish the militia with convicts - there are enough volunteers to defend Donbass.
By the way, I remember the persecution by the current government of the last legitimate president of Ukraine, Yanukovych, for his criminal record and the “attached” stigma of criminality to the Donetsk region. Well, history is replete with examples of how people end up believing that they can do everything, while others can’t do anything.
As the commander of one of the units of the army of Novorossiya, I know: victory will be ours.
